We believe creating and designing your special custom cake should be an intimate and memorable experience for you. Whether you wish for your cake to feature an intricate pattern inspired by the detail on your gown or vibrant sugar flowers that play with your color palette, Katya Nichole Cakes can design the cake of your dreams.

Custom Cake Design Process

• Initial inquiry

  • The first step in our cake design and commission process is to fill out and submit an inquiry form. We will be in contact shortly after submission to let you know if your event date is available. If available, you will be sent a detailed questionnaire to determine the type of cake you are looking to design so that we may complete a base price estimate.

• Cake tasting

  • If designing a wedding cake, a cake tasting sample box can be ordered for $35* which includes (4) cake flavors. Tasting sample boxes are available for delivery once a month, and unless otherwise noted, must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

• Design appointment

  • Design sketches will be provided to clients at this time based on the inquiry notes previously discussed. After design approval and finalizing with Katya Nichole Cakes, a contract and a non-refundable 50% retainer is due to officially secure your date on our calendar. If the event is within two months, the total will be due upon contract signing. Alternatively, if you know Katya Nichole Cakes is the right fit for your event, a $100 retainer can be paid upfront which secures your date on our calendar before the design process has been conducted and goes towards the retainer once a design has been chosen.

• Final Deposit

  • Two months prior to your event the final deposit will be due.

• Delivery of cake & event setup

  • At this time, Katya Nichole Cakes delivery prices are calculated based off of mileage. A delivery charge quotation can be provided upon request.

  *If cake total is more than $750, the $35 tasting fee will be subtracted from the final amount due.
